Criteria for becoming a data partner

The following are general guidelines Thomson Healthcare will apply when evaluating organizations seeking to become a Leapfrog Data Partner.  Thomson Healthcare will review each candidate’s proposal and make recommendations consistent with the guidelines below.

Data Partners using Leapfrog data for public display:

  • For public dissemination via Web sites, the site must be updated with the most recent data every month or upon specific request by The Leapfrog Group. Thomson Healthcare will update the raw data by the 3rd business day of every month and post it on a secure website for retrieval by Data Partners. Data Partners should refresh their Web sites within a reasonable amount of time from the time it is made available by Thomson Healthcare.
  • For public dissemination via a one-time mechanism such as a newsletter article, the most recent data at the time of publication must be used.
  • Users must include the following acknowledgement in any public display of the data: "The Leapfrog data was collected and compiled by Thomson Healthcare."
  • Users must include the following disclaimer with their public display of the data:  “The Leapfrog Group neither endorses nor warrants the quality of any data in this display other than The Leapfrog Group’s data, and neither endorses nor warrants the methodology used in this display to compile data from different sources.”
  • Sites cannot display the Leapfrog Group logo without the express permission of The Leapfrog Group and will limit the display of said logo or elements thereof as specified by the Group. For permission, contact at info@leapfroggroup.org.

Data Partners using The Leapfrog Group data for internal use:

  • Any use of the data not disseminated publicly is considered internal use.  For example, internal use includes using the data to answer RFI questions, for internal benchmarking, or for network management.
