Fee Structure
The fees charged for receiving the Hospital Quality and Safety Survey Data vary based how the data will be used. The pricing structure is as follows: Health Plan Licensees:
Use: Data can be used for purposes external to the organization (such as evaluation, contracting and network management) and for public display.
Fees:
500,000 or fewer covered lives $20,000
500,000 – 1,000,000 covered lives $24,000
1,000000 – 3,000,000 covered lives $28,000
3,000,000 or more covered lives $40,000
Use: Data can be used for purposes internal to the organization but may not be used for public display
Fees:
500,000 or fewer covered lives $10,000
500,000 – 1,000,000 covered lives $12,000
1,000000 – 3,000,000 covered lives $14,000
3,000,000 or more covered lives $20,000
Additional licensure structures are available for health plans that are parent organizations of wholly-owned subsidiary health plans.
Value Added-Reseller Licensees (Licensure for commercial use):
Use: Data can be used for purposes internal to the organization (such as evaluation, contracting and network management) and for public display. Licensee may also incorporate the data into its commercial products.
Fees: $16,000 + $0.01 per member with access to products that incorporates Leapfrog data.
Sample Cost: For 500,000 members $21,000
Sample Cost: For 1,000,000 members $26,000
Sample Cost: For 3,000,000 members $46,000
Employers:
Use: Data can be used for purposes internal to the organization and for public display.
Fees:
1-1,000 employees $2,000
1,001– 10,000 employees $10,000
10,000 – 50,000 employees $14,000
50,000 or more employees $18,000
Use: Data can be used for purposes internal to the organization but may not be used for public display
Fees:
1-1,000 employees $1,000
1,001– 10,000 employees $5,000
10,000 – 50,000 employees $7,000
50,000 or more employees $9,000 Non-plan Licensees:
