Leapfrog Data Partners will execute an annual agreement licensing the use of Leapfrog’s Hospital Quality and Safety Survey Data.

All organizations wishing to receive the data will sign a Data Use Agreement in order to become a Data Partner.

Each Leapfrog Data Partner will have secured access to hospital-specific scored results in an Excel spreadsheet.

The data will be posted to a section of the Leapfrog Web site administered by Thomson Healthcare on the 3rd business day of the month at which point Data Partners will be able to log in and download the data for their use.

Technical documentation (Results Dictionary) to understand file layouts and formats will be provided in a downloadable format for Data Partners through the secured web site.

Data Partners will be expected to use the most up to date data. Those Data Partners using the data for public display will be expected to update their data portals within a reasonable period of time from posting on the secure Web site.

Data Partners will be required to participate in a Web-based semi-annual survey on how the Partner is using the data and the successes and challenges it faces. The survey will measure overall satisfaction with the program, quantifiable measures of success, statistical information about end-user data access, barriers and/or challenges to optimal use of the data and recommendations for improvement of the program.
