The LHRP translates the data results from each measure of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey into a finite score on a scale from zero to 100. Then, the individual score for each measure is weighted and rolled up into an independent, composite score for quality and resource utilization. The quality score accounts for 65% of a hospital’s overall efficiency score and the resource utilization score accounts for 35% of the overall efficiency score.
