| Program Licensure
Health plans have three options with regard to administering the LHRP in their preferred market(s):
- LHRP Data Package—Basic Option
This base package includes individual LHRP Hospital Performance Reports for each hospital in your designated market or region that has submitted a current Leapfrog Hospital Survey. Also included in this package is limited technical assistance to review the LHRP scoring methodology and results with your organization.
The LHRP Hospital Performance Reports displays performance results in each Leapfrog Hospital Survey category and provides comparisons to state and national performance averages for each category. Also, the report provides quality, resource utilization, and efficiency scores according to the LHRP scoring methodology for each individual hospital. - LHRP Data & Analysis Package—Intermediate Option
The LHRP Analysis Package includes individual Hospital Performance Reports for each hospital in your designated market or region. To view a sample Hospital Performance Report, click here.
In addition, Leapfrog provides analysis and technical assistance to support understanding of the Performance Reports by internal and/or external audiences. At the health plan’s option, these technical assistance hours can be used to:
- Work with each hospital individually to discuss results
- Customize additional analytical reports for hospitals or the health plan,
- Analyze relationships between the LHRP data and the health plan’s claims data; and/or
- Help the health plan lay the framework for a LHRP pilot implementation.

- LHRP Full Licensure Package—Advanced Option
Full LHRP Licensure provides your health plan everything necessary to design, implement, and administer the program in your selected market(s). As a licensee, your health plan will receive program reports, customized technical assistance, and program template materials.
