For Hospitals > Incentives & Rewards > Hospital Recognition Program > LHRP Details for Health Plans > LHRP Rewards LHRP Rewards To be eligible for rewards through LHRP, a hospital must complete and submit the Leapfrog Hospital Survey by the deadline specified by the health plan licensee in the local market. In most cases, the deadline is June 30 for initial results and December 31 for calendar-year results. A hospital’s overall efficiency score, a weighted combination of quality and resource utilization measures, determines its performance category—Attainment or Improvement. Health plan licensees can customize these performance categories by defining the eligibility requirements. These performance categories contain different recognition and rewards types that can also be customized by health plan licensees in collaboration with participating hospitals. The Leapfrog Group provides technical assistance to individual health plans in customizing elements of LHRP to suit the needs of their market(s).
