Why did your organization decide to apply to become a Leapfrog Regional Roll-Out leader?
Our employer members studied the issues thoroughly. As a coalition, we thought it was an important initiative, liked that it was employer led, and was a nationally standardized assessment tool.

In your view, what kind of impact has Leapfrog had on your market thus far?
It has given us a shared quality improvement agenda with our hospitals in Colorado. We know that quality managers now have more clout within their institution when purchasers are involved. We have used the Leapfrog initiative to engage hospital CEOs with our employer members.
