Why did your organization decided to apply to become a Leapfrog Regional Roll-Out leader? Becoming a RRO for Leapfrog aligns with the Coalition’s goals: Improved healthcare quality and efficiency, greater consumer responsibility, healthier people, and improved economic competitiveness. The Coalition also works to encourage transparency and accountability in the market.
In your view, what kind of impact Leapfrog has had on your market thus far? We believe Leapfrog participation will improve the quality and efficiency of our hospitals and we plan to educate our consumers to be more accountable in understanding and making good healthcare choices. This project is one way employers can collectively leverage influence to improve hospital quality.
