The Leapfrog Group is offering an in-person training and orientation in partnership with DHG Healthcare at the Chicago Marriott at Medical District/UICon November 5 and 6, 2018.         REGISTER HERE

SESSION DESCRIPTIONS

  • Monday, November 5:
    Leapfrog Hospital Survey and Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade ($895) 
    Attendance will be capped at 75
    • 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Leapfrog Hospital Survey
    • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Networking Lunch
    • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade
    • 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Action Plans for Quality Improvement

This full-day session will provide participants with an in-depth orientation to the Leapfrog Hospital Survey and Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. The session is designed to help quality directors, survey coordinators, and other hospital and health system leaders gain an in-depth understanding of the measures, deadlines, scoring algorithms, and public reporting requirements used in Leapfrog's ratings programs. This session will also include information on how hospitals and health systems can develop initiatives to help them improve their performance on the measures.

  • Tuesday, November 6:
    New Leapfrog Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Survey and Outpatient Surgery Section of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey ($295) 
    Attendance will be capped at 75
    • 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Breakfast
    • 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Introduction to the Leapfrog Ambulatory Surgery Center Survey and Hospital Outpatient Section of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey
    • 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Trends for Optimizing Quality in the ASC Setting

This half-day session will provide participants with an introduction to Leapfrog's new Ambulatory Surgery Center Survey and Hospital Outpatient section of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey. The session is designed to introduce administrators, quality directors, and others to the new ambulatory and outpatient procedure measures that Leapfrog will collect beginning on April 1, 2019, and include an overview of Leapfrog’s deadlines, data collection processes, and protocols to ensure data accuracy. The session will also include information on optimizing quality within ASCs.
