The Leapfrog Group released its report on Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) Systems and Medication Errors, which shows a record number of U.S. hospitals are using technology to reduce potential medication prescribing errors; however, these systems fail too often, jeopardizing patients’ safety.
