Call for New Leapfrog Regions November 8, 2005 marks the beginning of Leapfrog’s annual “Call for New Regional Roll-Outs”. Regional Roll-Outs (RROs) are local efforts in markets where Leapfrog members work together to ask hospitals to report to Leapfrog’s voluntary online hospital survey, which notes their progress on implementing Leapfrog’s leaps. Regional leaders, in turn, recognize and reward their local hospitals for doing so. Leapfrog is currently rolled-out in 28 markets around the country (see regional listing). Our goal is to “paint the U.S. green” with hospitals reporting to our survey and implementing our leaps in every market, but we need new RRO leaders to achieve this goal. If you or one of your purchaser colleagues are interested in bringing Leapfrog to your market(s), please review and fill out the application form. Doing so will enable you to provide your employees and others access to hospital quality and safety information they otherwise would not have access to thus enabling them to make more informed health care decisions. The deadline for submission is December 9. Leapfrog will be hosting a Regional Roll-Out Informational Call for anyone interested in applying and/or in learning more about Leapfrog’s Roll-Outs.
