First-Ever Program Rewarding Hospitals for Excellent AND Efficient Care Launched July 13, 2006 In partnership with The Leapfrog Group, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey launched a program offering New Jersey hospitals financial rewards and public recognition for high quality, efficient care. Over the next three years, Horizon will measure the performance of contracted hospital systems and provide rewards to those who perform at the highest levels or who demonstrate sustained improvement. |
