Just Released: Leapfrog Hospital Survey Refresh Version 3.1 of the Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Patient Safety Survey was released on our website Friday, March 18, 2005. Unlike Leapfrog survey releases in previous years, this release is called a “refresh” because the survey has only minor wording and scoring changes. For this release, hospitals are asked to go into the survey, review and respond to the “time-sensitive” questions, and re-affirm the accuracy of their previous answers. This will allow Leapfrog to track the hospital’s progress toward fulfilling their previously made commitments. New FAQs are included in this year’s refresh to add clarity to questions that prompted calls to the help desk in Survey Version 3.0 and to clarify exactly how the minor changes to the survey may affect a hospital’s answers or score.
