Enhancements to the Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Safety Survey Finalized. Please Review. The changes that have been made to the survey allow hospitals to achieve additional credit this year for commitments made on the 2004 survey and that are now fulfilled. Hospitals that made a commitment last year received credit for making the commitment; this year those hospitals can receive credit again only if they completed all required action for the commitment. The Safe Practices section has been altered to provide an opportunity to gain additional credit for those commitments which required additional or different activities than those in the survey question. If you have already printed a hard copy of the 2005 survey, please reprint. Also, if you have already submitted your survey refresh, you may wish to review the changes and consider re-submitting.
