LVBCH serves the needs of employers by providing access to quality and affordable healthcare benefits. Founded in 1980 by Lehigh Valley business leaders concerned about inflation in medical costs, the coalition has spent nearly four decades on the cutting edge of health care costs and quality. The majority of LVBCH employer members are located in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania; however its expanding footprint includes more than a dozen Pennsylvania counties as well as several states.

LVBCH membership is comprised of nearly 200 businesses and more than 300,000 covered lives.  This includes about 150 employers ranging in size from those with less than 100 employees to those with several thousand employees.  Several are international in scope, while others are regional or local employers.  In addition, we have more than 40 associate members representing hospitals, health plans, other healthcare providers, pharmaceuticals, insurance companies, benefit consultants and brokers.

Mission and Vision
