The Leapfrog Group, in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality, hosted its second ever Best Practices Poster Session during the 2025 Annual Meeting on December 15th at the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, Maryland. This event provided hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) an opportunity to showcase innovative strategies and solutions aligned with Leapfrog’s Hospital Survey, ASC Survey and Hospital Safety Grade Standards.
A Platform for Sharing Excellence
The poster session highlighted exemplary case studies across key areas, including:
- Patient Rights and Ethics: Addressing billing transparency, health care equity, and informed consent.
- Surgical Safety and Quality: Enhancing surgical outcomes through standardized practices.
- Specialty Care: Focusing on maternity, pediatric, and critical care improvements.
- Patient Safety: Innovations in hand hygiene, medication safety, and healthcare-associated infection prevention.
Each poster abstract was meticulously reviewed by leadership from both Leapfrog and the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute, with criteria emphasizing originality, clarity, and measurable impact. View all posters here.
