The call for abstracts for Leapfrog's third annual Best Practices Poster Session at the 2026 Annual Patient Safety Summit & Awards Gala is now open.

Hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) are invited to submit case studies for the third annual Best Practices Poster Session at the 2026 Annual Patient Safety Summit and Awards Gala. Abstracts should be directly tied to meeting Leapfrog’s Hospital Survey, ASC Public Reporting Program, or Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade Standards on:

• Patient Rights and Ethics (billing ethics, health care equity, informed consent, and never events)
• Surgical Safety and Quality (facility and surgeon volume standards, safe surgery checklist implementation, patient experience)
• Specialty Care (maternity care, pediatric care, critical care)
• Patient Safety (medication safety, NQF Safe Practices, hand hygiene, healthcare-associated infections, nurse staffing and skill mix).
