Meet the Speakers
Noel Adachi, MBA
President & CEO, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC)
Noel Adachi serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of AAAHC, where she leads one of the nation’s most recognized organizations dedicated exclusively to advancing quality in ambulatory health care. Since joining AAAHC in 2017, she has guided the organization through significant transformation—modernizing operations, strengthening governance, expanding technology-enabled solutions, and positioning AAAHC for long-term growth in an increasingly complex health care environment. Under Noel’s leadership, AAAHC launched its 1095 Strong—Quality Every Day philosophy, reinforcing the belief that quality and readiness are continuous commitments that extend across all 1,095 days of the accreditation cycle. This approach has strengthened organizational accountability, enhanced client and surveyor engagement, and further differentiated AAAHC’s consultative, ambulatory-focused accreditation model. Prior to AAAHC, Noel spent more than two decades with the College of American Pathologists (CAP), serving in multiple senior leadership roles, including Vice President of International Market Development. During her tenure, she expanded CAP’s presence in emerging global markets through strategic partnerships and collaborative relationships with health care leaders and organizations worldwide. Across more than 35 years in health care leadership, Noel has built a reputation for developing high-performing teams, advancing quality improvement initiatives, and creating strategies that improve compliance, patient safety, and access to care. She holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Knox College.
